Putin in North Korea for the first time in 24 years: Striking images from the historic visit

Russian President Vladimir Putin has arrived in Pyongyang, the capital of North Korea, for an official visit after a 24-year hiatus. Kim Jong-un welcomed Putin at the airport.

A statement from the Kremlin Press Service said, "Russian President Vladimir Putin has arrived in Pyongyang. The visit is taking place at the invitation of the President of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, Kim Jong Un. North Korean leader Kim Jong Un personally welcomed Vladimir Putin at Pyongyang Airport."

It was reported that Putin and Kim will meet tomorrow, sign several agreements, and subsequently hold a joint press conference.
