Putin stated that Russia attaches great importance to increasing its communication and bilateral relations within the framework of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), emphasizing that existing ties should be further deepened.

According to the report in Sputnik, he also stated that they advocate for "the construction of a world order based on true equality and the supremacy of international law."

Addressing the main theme of the meeting, "Interaction between Russia and the Islamic World in the Era of Emerging Multipolarity," Putin expressed his belief that the participants would contribute ideas and initiatives that would further advance cooperation between countries through constructive discussions.

In this context, the Russian leader underscored that the positions of Russia and Islamic countries on regional and global issues are often similar.
