Putin's buffer zone plan in Ukraine

Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of Russia, published a map covering almost all of Ukraine in a post on his Telegram channel, stating, "If military aid to the Bandera regime continues, the buffer zone could look like this."

On the map, which was obtained from pro-Russian sources, it is seen that only a small strip of Ukraine along the Polish border is left to Ukraine. Medvedev argued that such a measure might be necessary against the threat of long-range weapons coming from the West.

NATO IS A THREAT

Medvedev stated that NATO's long-range weapons pose a direct threat to Russia, saying, "In other words, Russia must be there; it must be 550 kilometers plus an extra 70 to 100 kilometers for security."
