Germany has reacted to the attack launched by Israel yesterday on the city of Rafah in the Gaza Strip.

German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock, in a statement, warned Israel against launching a large-scale offensive on Rafah, saying, "1 million people cannot just disappear. They need protection. They urgently need more humanitarian aid. The Rafah and Kerem Shalom border crossings must be reopened immediately."
