Release of hostages in Gaza to begin tomorrow at 10:00 AM

Israeli state television KAN, citing a senior Israeli official, reported that under the general terms of the agreement reached with Hamas, Israel will receive the names of the hostages to be released through the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) on the evening of the previous day.

HOSTAGES EXPECTED TO BE RELEASED TOMORROW

In return, it was reported that Israel will also submit the names of the Palestinian prisoners to be released to the ICRC. The report stated that the families of the Israeli hostages expected to be released tomorrow will not be informed this evening, and that the hostages, once received, will meet with their families after completing health checks at the hospital.

The report stated, "The hostage release process will begin every day at 10:00 AM."

The report noted that the hostages to be released will first be handed over to the ICRC to be transported to Israel, and that Palestinian prisoners will be released after the Israeli hostages are handed over to the authorities.

CEASEFIRE DURATION MAY BE EXTENDED

It was emphasized that under the agreement, for every Israeli hostage released, 3 Palestinian prisoners will be released each day, and that a single shot fired in the region would be considered a violation of the agreement but would not mean the end of the agreement.

The report also mentioned that it is anticipated that the humanitarian pause will be extended after the 4 days are up in order to ensure the release of more Israeli hostages. Meanwhile, Israel Army Radio also noted in its report that, in accordance with the agreement reached between Israel and Hamas, Palestinian child prisoners will be released together with their mothers.

Pointing out that Egypt, Qatar, and the US are guarantors of the agreement, the report stated that Hamas holds approximately 80 women and children as hostages, and therefore, extending the humanitarian pause to 7 days is a possibility.

Mousa Abu Marzouk, head of the Hamas International Relations Office, had also stated that the humanitarian pause in the clashes between Israel and Hamas would begin on Thursday, November 23, at 10:00 AM.
