Iraqi security sources reported that a rocket attack was launched from Iraq against a US base located in Syria.

A rocket attack was carried out against a US base in Syria. Iraqi security sources reported that at least five rockets were fired from Zummar in northern Iraq toward a US base located in northeastern Syria.
The attack was recorded as the first strike against US forces in the region since last February.
The US side has not yet made a statement regarding the attack.
