Russia-Arab summit invitation for Syria
The Kremlin plans to invite the Syrian administration to the Russia-Arab Summit to be held in October. While stating that relations with Syria will continue, Peskov also evaluated Trump's decision to lift sanctions.

Kremlin Spokesperson Dmitry Peskov announced that Syria will be invited to the Russia-Arab Summit to be held in October.
CONFIRMED THE INVITATION
Speaking to reporters in Moscow, Peskov stated, "Such invitations will of course be extended. We maintain our relations with the current administration in Syria and will continue these relations in the future. We have interests in Syria."
Furthermore, addressing US President Donald Trump's decision to lift sanctions on Syria, Peskov described this step as "a decision taken by the US of its own sovereign will."
