The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that they destroyed 3 US-made Patriot air defense systems belonging to Ukraine last week.
According to the statement from the ministry, Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu conducted inspections at the Joint Forces Group participating in the conflict in Ukraine.
Shoigu received information from commanders regarding the current situation in the "special military operation" zone.
Commander of the Russian Joint Forces Group Aleksey Kim reported to Shoigu that the Ukrainian Army has suffered significant losses in both equipment and manpower as a result of attacks carried out with high-precision weapons and unmanned aerial vehicles.
Kim reported that, just last week, as a result of the effective operation of reconnaissance and strike systems, 3 American Patriot complexes, 1 Vampire multiple launch rocket system, more than 10 foreign-made artillery systems, an ammunition depot, and fuel depots were destroyed.
Furthermore, Kim stated that approximately 300 fighters were killed in attacks carried out on the deployment point of the Ukrainian nationalist formation Kraken.
