Russia: We struck energy facilities in Ukraine

In a statement released by the Russian Ministry of Defense, it was announced that an airstrike was carried out on energy facilities that support the operation of military and industrial enterprises in Ukraine.

The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that certain energy facilities in Ukraine have been struck.

In the statement, which noted that attacks were carried out against targets in Ukraine, the following was stated: "In response to the Kiev regime's attempts to damage Russia's energy and transport facilities, the Russian Armed Forces carried out a group strike with high-precision, long-range air- and sea-launched weapons against energy facilities that support the operation of military and industrial enterprises in Ukraine."

The statement also noted that ammunition depots storing weapons sent from the West were damaged, and reported that the attacks achieved their purpose and all designated targets were hit.

The statement further indicated that Russian air defense systems destroyed 62 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), 14 US-made HIMARS missiles, and 3 French-made Hammer guided missiles within the last 24 hours, and shared information that to date, 607 aircraft, 274 helicopters, 24 thousand 964 UAVs, 525 air defense missile systems, 16 thousand 219 tanks and armored vehicles, 1326 multiple launch rocket systems, 9 thousand 998 howitzers and mortars, and 22 thousand 182 special military vehicles belonging to the Ukrainian army have been destroyed.
