Russia warns Germany: 'You will be involved in the war'
Vassily Nebenzia, Russia's Permanent Representative to the United Nations (UN), responded to a question about whether Germany would be directly involved in the war if it provided Taurus missiles to Ukraine, stating, "Yes, it would."

Nebenzia answered questions regarding the possibility of Germany providing Taurus missiles to Ukraine and the US threat to use military force against Iran.
When asked, "If Germany provides Taurus missiles to Ukraine, will it be considered directly involved in the war?" Nebenzia replied, "Yes, it would."
Nebenzia stated that Germany and many other countries are already involved in the Ukraine conflict in one way or another, saying, "These countries are waging a war against Russia with the help of their proxy forces. If they (Germany) also provide Taurus missiles, it will be another step toward escalating the tension."
Regarding the US threats to use force against Iran if an agreement is not reached, Nebenzia pointed out that the US has stated in its remarks that it prefers a political solution.
Nebenzia expressed that they also prefer this option.
"IT IS NOT REALISTIC TO TALK ABOUT A CEASEFIRE"
Recalling that a proposal for a partial ceasefire on energy facilities came to the agenda following the phone call between Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump on March 18, Nebenzia noted that Russia supported this proposal and instructed the army to comply with it.
Nebenzia stated that Russia had complied with the proposal from the very first day, while Ukraine, despite publicly supporting the proposal, continued its attacks on a daily basis.
Stating that Ukraine has carried out more than 120 attacks, including on Russian energy facilities, Nebenzia assessed, "Ukraine did not implement the partial ceasefire regarding energy infrastructure. Therefore, it is not realistic to talk about a ceasefire at this point."
"WE WANT EUROPEAN COUNTRIES TO STOP ARMING UKRAINE"
Arguing that Ukraine's violations show that Kyiv does not want peace, Nebenzia stated that "Western supporters" and European countries should put pressure on Ukraine and ensure that it ends its attacks on energy infrastructure.
Nebenzia underlined that European countries should also stop arming Ukraine, pointing out that they have not yet seen any steps in this direction.
Stating that many European countries are involved in the war, Nebenzia assessed, "European countries are not talking about peace. They do not care; they continue to push Ukraine into the abyss."
