Sergey Naryshkin, Director of Russia's Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR), announced that he held a telephone conversation with the Director of the United States Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), John Ratcliffe. In a statement to the "Rossiya-1" television channel, Naryshkin said, "I had a telephone conversation with my American counterpart. We agreed to call each other at any time and discuss issues of mutual interest."
