Russian fighter jets violate Estonian airspace
Estonia stated that three Russian fighter jets entered its airspace without authorization, describing the situation as unacceptable.

The Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that three Russian MiG-31 fighter jets entered Estonian airspace over the Gulf of Finland without authorization on Friday.
It was reported that the aircraft remained in Estonian airspace for a total of 12 minutes. Following the incident, Estonia summoned the Russian chargé d'affaires to the ministry.
Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna stated, "Russia has violated our airspace four times this year. However, today's incident is an act of unprecedented insolence." Tsahkna noted that this event follows the violation of Polish and Romanian airspace by Russian drones earlier this month.
Tensions have been notably rising on NATO's eastern flank recently. Earlier this month, more than 20 Russian drones entered Polish airspace, and some were shot down by NATO jets.
Estonia is known as a strong supporter of Ukraine and had previously announced that a Russian fighter jet briefly entered NATO airspace during an attempt to stop a tanker accused of evading sanctions against Moscow.
