Salam, appointed as Prime Minister of Lebanon, resigns from the International Court of Justice

International Court of Justice (ICJ) President Nawaf Salam has resigned from the ICJ following his appointment as prime minister by Lebanese President Joseph Aoun.

International Court of Justice (ICJ) President Nawaf Salam has resigned from the ICJ. Salam made the decision following his appointment as prime minister by Lebanese President Joseph Aoun. Salam's term as president of the ICJ was originally scheduled to end in February 2027.
