Saudi Arabia calls on its citizens in Lebanon to 'leave the country'

Saudi Arabia has called on its citizens in Lebanon to leave the country. A written statement regarding the matter was issued on the X account of the Saudi Embassy in Beirut.

The statement noted that the Saudi administration is closely monitoring the events in the southern region of Lebanon, which borders Israel, and requested that all Saudi Arabian citizens currently in the country leave Lebanese territory immediately.

STRUCK BY GUIDED MISSILE

The statement, which advised Saudi citizens to stay away from crowded areas where demonstrations are held in Lebanon, also warned against traveling from Saudi Arabia to Lebanon.

The Hezbollah movement in Lebanon announced today that an Israeli military assembly base and an observation tower on the border had been struck with a guided missile.

The Israeli army, for its part, announced that 2 military targets in Lebanon had been struck and that they had responded after fire was opened with light weapons from Lebanon toward Israeli soldiers in the Shebaa Farms.

"3 CLASHES OCCURRED ON THE LEBANESE BORDER IN 1 HOUR"

Meanwhile, a statement from the Israeli army used the phrase, "Fire was opened with light weapons at 3 Israeli army positions on the Lebanese border within one hour." The statement noted that the Israeli army responded to the areas from which fire was opened from Lebanon.

In the clashes that began on October 8 between the Israeli army and Hezbollah on the Lebanese border, 10 Hezbollah members, 2 Islamic Jihad members, 1 journalist, and 2 civilians have lost their lives. In attacks carried out from the Lebanese side, 2 Israeli soldiers and 1 Israeli civilian have also lost their lives.
