Following Israel's launch of an offensive on the city of Rafah in the Gaza Strip yesterday, ceasefire negotiations between Hamas and Israel continue.
A senior Hamas official stated that the Hamas delegation, which will travel to the Egyptian capital Cairo for ceasefire talks, represents the "last chance" for the release of Israeli hostages.
The official, who had previously stated that the Hamas delegation had canceled their plans to travel from Qatar to Egypt earlier today, now indicated that the delegation will set off for the Egyptian capital, Cairo, "shortly."
ATTENTION DRAWN TO THE SITUATION OF ISRAELI CAPTIVES
The official said, "This will be the last chance for Netanyahu and the families of the Israeli captives to get their children back."
Addressing Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's decision to invade Rafah, the official stated that this action demonstrates that Netanyahu and the Israeli army have made a decision that leads to the death of the Israeli captives.
