According to the report in T24; her sister, Adi Louk, stated in a post on her social media account, "We are saddened to announce the death of my sister, Shani Nicole Louk."
"DNA EVIDENCE WAS PROVIDED"
Louk's father spoke to the Israeli press and confirmed the information.
Shani's cousin, Ruth, stated yesterday that they had received an official notification from Israeli authorities and that DNA-related evidence confirming that Louk was no longer alive had been provided.
STATEMENT FROM THE ISRAELI MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS
The Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement regarding Louk's death. The statement said, "We are devastated to share that the body of 23-year-old German-Israeli Shani Louk has been found and identified."
The statement continued as follows:
"Shani, who was kidnapped from a music festival and paraded through Gaza by Hamas terrorists, experienced unimaginable horror. Our hearts and prayers are with Shani's friends and family during this unimaginable nightmare. May her memory be a blessing."
