While Israel's attacks on the Gaza Strip have continued with full intensity since October 7, protests are being held in many countries around the world for an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.
In London, the capital of the UK, hundreds of people held a sit-in at Liverpool Street Station, calling for a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.
"FREEDOM FOR PALESTINE!"
Carrying Palestinian flags, the demonstrators sat at the entrance of the station and chanted slogans such as "What do we want? Ceasefire. When? Now" and "Freedom for Palestine." No negative incidents have been reported so far during the demonstration, where police took security measures.
The feminist group Sisters Uncut, one of the supporters of the protest, stated that the sit-in was organized in solidarity with the Palestinian people, saying, "Business as usual will not continue until the genocide ends. Ceasefire now."
