Statement from Hamas following Israel's attack: They will not be able to break the Palestinian people's resistance
Regarding Israel's attack targeting its offices in Lebanon, Hamas stated that "Israel's cowardly assassinations will not be able to break the Palestinian people's resistance."

Hamas issued a statement following the killing of one of its leaders, Saleh al-Arouri, in an attack carried out by an Israeli drone in the Lebanese capital, Beirut.
"THEY WILL NOT BE ABLE TO HINDER OUR BRAVE RESISTANCE"
The statement read, "The cowardly assassinations carried out by the Zionist occupiers (Israel) against our leaders and symbolic figures inside and outside Palestine will not succeed in breaking the will and determination of our people, and will not be able to hinder our brave resistance."
Hamas noted that by carrying out the assassination, Israel has "proven its failure to achieve its goals in Gaza."
WHAT HAPPENED?
Reports in Israeli army radio, citing unnamed "foreign sources," stated that al-Arouri was killed in a drone attack on the Hamas office in the Lebanese capital, Beirut. The official Lebanese news agency NNA also announced in its report on the attack that 6 people, including al-Arouri, had been killed.
WHO IS SALEH AL-AROURI?
Hamas Deputy Political Bureau Chief Saleh al-Arouri was born on August 19, 1966, in Ramallah.
Al-Arouri, who contributed to the establishment of the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, was deported after spending 15 years in Israeli prisons and began living in Lebanon.
Al-Arouri was among the negotiators of the deal Hamas made with Israel on October 11, 2011, for the release of 1,027 Palestinian prisoners in exchange for one Israeli soldier.
