Statement from Hamas on Raisi

Hamas has announced that it is following the news of the emergency landing of the helicopter carrying Iranian President Ayatollah Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi and his accompanying delegation with great concern.

According to the Iranian news agency IRNA; the statement included the following: "As the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas, we are following with great attention and concern the reports regarding the emergency landing of the helicopter carrying Iranian President Ayatollah Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi, Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, and their accompanying delegation in northwestern Iran, and the loss of communication with them."

The statement continued: "Following this painful and unfortunate incident, we have conveyed to the Iranian leadership, government, and people that we stand with them. We pray to Allah to keep the Iranian President and his accompanying delegation safe and healthy, and we pray to Allah to protect the dear Iranian people from all kinds of evil and harm."
