Criticizing US President Donald Trump in his post, Rezaei stated, "As expected, the US President is betraying diplomacy for the third time. Trump's continuation of the naval blockade and his excessive demands in the negotiations have once again proven that he is not inclined toward negotiations and is pursuing other goals."
