KREMLIN ISSUES STATEMENT
In a statement released by the Kremlin, it was announced that Putin will travel to North Korea tomorrow and that the visit will continue until Wednesday.
The statement noted that the visit will be an extremely rare trip that underscores Moscow’s growing partnership with a nuclear-armed state.
The statement also included the phrase, “At the invitation of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, Vladimir Putin will pay a friendly state visit.”
