The redness seen on the neck of U.S. President Donald Trump during a ceremony held at the White House has raised concerns about his health.

Trump's doctor, Sean Barbabella, said in a statement regarding the matter that the redness on Trump's neck was caused by a cream he uses as a preventative skincare treatment.

Barbabella stated, "President Trump is using a commonly applied cream on the right side of his neck; this is a preventative skincare treatment. The President will continue this treatment for one week, and the redness is expected to last for a few weeks." Barbabella did not provide details regarding the name of the cream in question or why Trump needed this skincare treatment.

He had previously made headlines with bruises on his hands

Previously, bruises seen on Trump's hand had increased health concerns regarding the U.S. President. White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt had said in a statement on the matter, "President Trump has bruises on his hand because he is constantly working and shaking hands every day." Trump, for his part, had stated that such bruises occur because he takes aspirin, saying, "If you love your heart, I suggest you take aspirin. But if you don't want small bruises, don't take aspirin. This is one of the side effects of taking this medication."
