Strategic agreements signed during Macron's visit to Egypt

French President Emmanuel Macron signed significant agreements in the fields of transportation, health, and education with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi in Cairo.

French President Emmanuel Macron traveled to Egypt to attend a trilateral summit where the situation in Gaza will be addressed. Macron, who was welcomed with an official ceremony at the Ittihadiya Palace in Cairo, met with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.

Egyptian state television announced that the two leaders signed strategic partnership agreements in critical areas such as transportation, health, and education. Macron's visit focuses on the trilateral summit to be held with Egyptian President Sisi and King Abdullah II of Jordan.

During the talks, it is planned to sign a total of 12 economic agreements covering areas such as health, transportation, water, and renewable energy, in addition to a new health agreement between Cairo and Paris for the treatment of Palestinians evacuated from Gaza.

This important summit is being held at the invitation of Egyptian President Sisi at a time when Israel has increased its attacks on Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and violated the ceasefire.
