Striking claim regarding Biden's candidacy: They announced the date he will withdraw

The news site Axios has prepared a report compiling comments suggesting that Biden has been persuaded to step aside as a result of pressure from some Democrats within the party.
Pointing out that concerns regarding Biden's ability to continue his election candidacy have grown steadily following his first live televised debate with his Republican rival Donald Trump on CNN on the night of June 27, the report stated that many Democrats have joined the "call to withdraw" made to Biden by Democratic US Representative Adam Schiff.
A source who wished to remain anonymous stated, "I believe Biden will do the right thing. He is moving in that direction."
The report claimed that Biden could end his presidential election campaign this weekend.
Meanwhile, a poll conducted in the US found that 79 percent of Democrats support the nomination of Vice President Kamala Harris as the presidential candidate should President Biden decide to withdraw from the race.

Democratic Party candidate Biden and his Republican rival Trump, who are competing in the US presidential election to be held on November 5, faced off in their first live televised debate on CNN on the night of June 27.
The 81-year-old Biden failed to deliver a performance that would alleviate concerns about his age regarding his second-term candidacy and was subjected to intense criticism after the program.
Calls for Biden to "withdraw from the presidential election" were made by segments of the Democratic Party and some media outlets that support Biden.
Biden, however, acknowledged that his health is not what it used to be, but stated that he is still the best alternative against Trump and announced that he would not withdraw from the race.
