Striking Erdoğan claim about Donald Trump! Former advisor reveals...

US presidential candidate Donald Trump's former chief of staff John Kelly and former national security advisor John Bolton have made striking statements.

It has been alleged that while Trump refused to be compared to Adolf Hitler during his election campaign, the former president said the Nazi leader did 'great things.'

Speaking to CNN anchor and chief national security analyst Jim Sciutto, Trump's former chief of staff John Kelly said the following;

"Trump said Hitler did some good things, he rebuilt the economy. I said, he used the economy he rebuilt against his own people. You can never say anything good about this guy."

Speaking for Sciutto's soon-to-be-published book The Return of Great Powers, Kelly added that "it is quite hard to believe that Trump ignores the Holocaust."

Trump's former national security advisor John Bolton told Sciutto that "Trump sees himself as a big man" and "likes dealing with other big men like Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan." Bolton stated that AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan imprisons people without needing to provide a legal basis, and that Trump likes this. Kelly, on the other hand, stated that Trump "is in no way a tough guy, in fact, it is the opposite."

Kelly concluded his words as follows:

"He imagines himself that way. Trump also admires Hitler's power over Nazi officers and wished his own staff would remain just as loyal. Trump was also shocked that he did not have dictatorial-type powers as president, including the need for Congressional approval on matters such as sending American troops abroad."

Mentioning Russian President Vladimir Putin, Chinese President Xi Jinping, and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, Kelly said, "My theory on why he likes dictators so much is that he is one himself. He saw Putin, Xi, and that nutcase in North Korea as people who resemble him in terms of being tough guys."

Trump campaign spokesperson Steven Cheung told CNN:

"John Kelly and John Bolton have completely lost their minds and are suffering from a severe case of Trump Derangement Syndrome."
