Two violent explosions occurred in the Saudi Arabian capital, Riyadh, in the evening hours.

As tensions rise in the Middle East due to the conflicts between the US-Israel and Iran, explosion sounds were heard in the skies over the capital, Riyadh, in Saudi Arabia. The Saudi Arabian Ministry of Defense reported that ballistic missiles approaching the capital, Riyadh, were detected and that air defense systems were activated to intercept the threats. In a statement from the ministry, it was said, "4 ballistic missiles launched toward Riyadh were destroyed. As a result of the interception operation, missile debris fell into various parts of the capital. According to initial assessments, there was no damage or injury."

The ministry also reported that a UAV approaching a natural gas facility was destroyed.

During these developments, Saudi Arabia's national early warning system was activated in the Riyadh and Al-Kharj regions, and emergency notifications were sent to the mobile phones of the local population. According to local sources, this was the first time residents living in the city have been directly warned through this system since the start of the Israel-US and Iran conflicts.
