Clashes continue in Syria between the Bashar al-Assad regime and opposition armed groups. According to a report by the Reuters news agency citing two Syrian soldiers, Syrian regime forces have withdrawn, leaving certain strategic points, including Aleppo International Airport, to the terrorist organization PKK/YPG. In a statement issued by the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), which includes the YPG, it was reported that they have begun to take control of strategic points after moving out from the Manbij region.

Meanwhile, two Syrian military sources stated that Russia has promised additional military aid that will begin arriving in Damascus within the next 72 hours. The sources said that authorities have closed Aleppo Airport and the roads leading to the city.
