Syria's new cabinet announced
In Syria, now under the administration of the jihadist HTS, the new cabinet led by President Ahmed Shara has been announced.

Following the fall of the Bashar al-Assad administration and the collapse of the 61-year-old Baath regime in Syria, the country's administration has passed to the jihadist HTS.
A swearing-in ceremony was held for the first cabinet formed under the leadership of President Ahmed Shara.
Delivering the opening speech at the ceremony, President Shara stated, "Today is the day we begin to walk toward a future we deserve, with the strength we draw from our past, and with a strong will and determination."
Shara said, "We will rebuild the state's institutions and base all processes on the principles of transparency and accountability. We will combat the economic and social problems our people have faced for many years. We will protect and further strengthen human rights and fundamental freedoms. We will improve our education and health systems to provide a better life for future generations."
Shara added, "By working together, we will develop our homeland and will not allow corruption to infiltrate our institutions in any way. Justice is the foundation of everything, and this value will be a compass guiding every decision we make."
Shara stated, "With this government, we are determined on the path of change and development. We will work day and night so as not to disappoint the trust of our people."
Ministers in the new cabinet also delivered speeches at the ceremony.

3- Minister of Interior: Anas Khattab
4- Minister of Justice: Mazhar al-Ways
5- Minister of Higher Education: Marwan al-Halabi
6- Minister of Awqaf: Muhammad Abu Khair Shukri
7- Minister of Social Affairs and Labor: Hind Kabawat
8- Minister of Energy: Muhammad Bashir
9- Minister of Finance: Muhammad Yusr Berniyeh
10- Minister of Economy: Nidal al-Shaar
11- Minister of Health: Musab Nazzal al-Ali
12- Minister of Local Administration: Muhammad Anjarani
13- Minister of Telecommunications: Abdulsalam Haykal
14- Minister of Emergency and Disaster Management: Raed Saleh
15- Minister of Agriculture: Amjad Badr
16- Minister of Education: Muhammad Abdulrahman Terko

The cabinet includes figures representing different segments of society, such as Hind Kabawat, Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, a well-known figure in the Christian community; Amjad Badr, Minister of Agriculture from As-Suwayda, where the Druze population is concentrated; Terko, Minister of Education from the Afrin region; and Yarub Badr, from the Alawite-majority Latakia region, who previously served as Minister of Transport between 2006 and 2011.
Meanwhile, it was noted that Intelligence Chief Anas Khattab has taken over the role of Minister of Interior, while the same individuals continue to serve in the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Defense.
