Taxi drivers in London file £250 million lawsuit against Uber

According to reports in the British media, a class-action lawsuit is being filed today in the High Court regarding Uber's operations in the capital, London, between May 2012 and March 2018.
ALLEGED VIOLATION OF LICENSING RULES
Approximately 11,000 taxi drivers claim that Uber misled the public transport operator, Transport for London, regarding how it operated its taxi booking system, thereby violating private hire licensing rules.
The litigation management firm RGL Management shared information that the drivers' claim is worth at least £250 million, with each taxi driver expected to receive approximately £25,000.
