The long-standing tension between the US and Iran has escalated once again in recent days. The Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps has warned that it will provide a serious response to the US Navy's moves against Iranian ships in the region.
Iranian military officials sent a message that if the Washington administration makes another mistake, the US could face unexpected losses in its military presence in the Middle East.
The Political Deputy of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy stated in his latest remarks: “If America makes another miscalculation, we will burn their massive ships at sea, and our intervention will include new capabilities along with surprises.” This statement is being evaluated as a sign that pro-Iranian groups in the region could also take action. The Tehran administration has clearly stated that if the US continues its attempts to seize Iranian ships, they will not hesitate to retaliate.
TRUMP'S NUCLEAR CONDITION
US President Donald Trump, for his part, expressed that they do not accept the latest proposal offered by Iran. In his statement, Trump emphasized that military and economic pressure will not be lifted until a solution is found to the nuclear crisis. Thus, the US side has once again demonstrated that it does not find the conditions put forward by Tehran regarding its nuclear program to be sufficient.
