It has been announced that the Global Sumud Flotilla, which set sail to transport aid supplies to Gaza and overcome the Israeli blockade, has entered a high-risk zone.

In a statement made from the flotilla's social media account, "We are on high alert. UAV traffic over the flotilla is intensifying. Some reports indicate that various scenarios could unfold in the coming hours," it was stated.

The post also included the warning, "We have now entered the high-risk zone. This is the area where previous flotillas were attacked or stopped. Everyone should be vigilant." the statement added.


'WE ARE PREPARED FOR THE MOMENT OF INTERVENTION'

Flotilla spokesperson Wael Naouar stated in a social media post that they had entered the high-risk zone approximately 6 miles ago. Reporting that they are 144 nautical miles from Gaza, Naouar said, "The number of drones over our ships has doubled, and there are unusual disruptions in internet and radio connections. We do not know if the intervention will happen tonight or tomorrow, but we are all ready."

Turkish activist Muhammed Salih, who is on the Adagio ship in the flotilla, stated in a video he released that they saw an Israeli naval vessel approximately 80 kilometers (50 miles) from the flotilla. Salih said, "We were expecting an Israeli intervention this evening or tomorrow night. It will most likely happen tonight. We are on high alert. Everyone has put on their life jackets and is waiting on deck." they said.

Meanwhile, the 'Anatolia to Gaza: A Breath' platform also issued a statement regarding the situation.

In a statement released on the platform's official X account, it was reported that 'stop' warnings were issued over the ships' radio frequencies, but no attack on the vessels had occurred.

The statement, which noted that the Sumud Flotilla is continuing its journey, stated that they are 140 nautical miles from Gaza, that the possibility of an attack remains, and that a state of high alert is being maintained.

"The alarm level on the Sumud Flotilla has been lowered. 

Harassment maneuvers were carried out around the flotilla, and the ships' radio frequencies were breached with 'stop' warnings. However, no attack involving boarding the ships has taken place.
