US electric vehicle manufacturer Tesla will recall 27,000 Cybertruck vehicles it has released to the market. The company stated that the reason for the decision is that images from the vehicles' rearview camera system are appearing with a 'delay'.
US electric vehicle manufacturer Tesla announced that it will recall 27,000 Cybertruck vehicles in the US.
In the statement made by Tesla, it was noted that the recall decision was taken on the grounds that the delayed rearview camera images could obstruct driver visibility and cause accidents. The statement added that the issue could be resolved with a software update.
It was noted that the rearview camera images are delayed because the Cybertruck system in the affected vehicles receives a restart command before the shutdown process is completed.
Earlier this year, Tesla recalled a large number of Cybertruck vehicles in the US due to issues related to windshield wipers and exterior trim.
