While the cost per medal was calculated at 3.77 million pounds (164 million TL), it turns out that when only gold medals are considered, 17.5 million pounds (761 million TL) was spent for each one.

At the top of the medal table in Paris 2024, the USA took the lead with 40 gold, 44 silver, and 42 bronze, while China secured second place with 40 gold, 27 silver, and 24 bronze. Great Britain finished the games in seventh place.
