The StopNCII.org team removes your photos that have been edited without your consent and published on various platforms from everywhere on the internet.

StopNCII.org is a free tool designed to support victims of Non-Consensual Intimate Image (NCII) abuse.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

This tool works by creating a hash (a mathematical function that takes a specific data set and turns it into a fixed-length summary) of your personal image(s)/video(s). Image hashing is the process of using an algorithm to assign a unique hash value to an image. Copies of this image will also have the same hash value. For this reason, it is sometimes called a 'digital fingerprint.' StopNCII.org then shares this hash value with participating companies so they can help detect and remove the sharing of these images on the internet.

StopNCII.org is an internationally renowned charity that believes everyone should benefit from technology without being harmed, and it is operated by the Revenge Porn Helpline, which is part of SWGfL. Established in 2000, SWGfL works with numerous partners and stakeholders worldwide to protect everyone on the internet.

Founded in 2015, the Revenge Porn Helpline (RPH) has supported thousands of victims of non-consensual intimate image abuse. With a removal rate of over 90%, RPH has successfully removed more than 200,000 individual non-consensual intimate images from the internet.

HELPS PROTECT PRIVACY

This tool works by creating a hash (digital fingerprint) of the selected images directly on the device. The fingerprint is a single file shared only with StopNCII.org and participating companies. StopNCII.org does not download images from the device and collects minimal data while providing the service to protect privacy.
