Personal data from 26 billion accounts across many platforms, including Twitter, LinkedIn, Canva, Telegram, Wattpad, and Adobe, has been stolen.
According to the report by Freewebturkey.com citing the DailyMail, the incident was uncovered when cybersecurity researchers discovered a database containing 26 billion data records, which was noted to consist of 3,800 folders.
Each of these folders, with a total size of more than 12 terabytes, contains records from personal data leaks.
The dataset involved in this discovery is believed to be a compilation of multiple breaches rather than a single data breach.
The largest amount of data was seized from the popular Chinese messaging app Tencent, with 1.5 billion records. It was followed by the Chinese social media platform Weibo with 504 million records.
