The 'non-negotiable' items Trump has set for Iran

While no results were reached in the 21-hour negotiations held between Iran and the US in Pakistan yesterday, an unnamed White House official announced the "non-negotiable" items set by US President Donald Trump for Iran.

The official stated that these items include "the cessation of all uranium enrichment activities, the dismantling and destruction of major nuclear enrichment facilities that were heavily damaged in a US bombing last June, the surfacing of more than 400 kilograms of highly enriched uranium believed to be buried underground, the acceptance of a broader peace, security, and de-escalation framework that includes regional allies, the end of funding for proxy groups such as Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Houthis, and the complete opening of the Strait of Hormuz without the collection of transit fees."
