The New York Times reported that 30 of the 33 missile launchers possessed by Iran remain accessible. It was claimed that approximately 70 percent of Iran's missile stockpiles are in usable condition.

US President Donald Trump reacted to the news with a statement on his social media account. In his post, Trump stated, “The fake news media is saying that the Iranian enemy is militarily successful against us. This is such a false and ridiculous claim that it is practically treason. They are aiding and abetting the enemy.”
Trump also argued that 159 Iranian ships had been completely sunk. In his statement, he said, “What they are doing is giving false hope to Iran where there should be none. Only losers, ingrates, and fools produce arguments against America.”
