US President Donald Trump has taken a significant decision that could shed light on three of the most mysterious assassinations in the country's history.
Trump signed an executive order that includes the disclosure of classified documents regarding the killings of former President John F. Kennedy, his brother Robert F. Kennedy, and civil rights activist Martin Luther King Jr.
A statement from the White House indicated that the executive order mandates the preparation of a plan to declassify documents related to the John F. Kennedy assassination within 15 days, and documents concerning the other two assassinations within 45 days. It was emphasized that this move by Trump is consistent with the promise he made to the public during his election campaign to release the documents.
At the same ceremony, Trump also signed executive orders regarding the field of artificial intelligence, the establishment of a Science and Technology Advisory Council, the creation of a new task force on cryptocurrencies, and the pardoning of certain anti-abortion protesters.
