Following the ceasefire that came into effect between Hamas and Israel last Sunday (January 19), the Israeli army attacked the West Bank today (January 21). Israeli soldiers, who raided the refugee camp located in the Jenin region, killed 6 Palestinians. It was reported that at least 35 people were also injured in the attack.

According to the statement by the Palestinian Ministry of Health, 6 Palestinians lost their lives in the attack targeting the Jenin refugee camp in the West Bank.

The Palestine-based news agency WAFA reported that at least 35 people were injured. According to WAFA's report, if the attacks continue, an increase in the death toll will be inevitable.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu made a statement via a social media platform, using the following expressions:

'Wherever the Iranian axis extends—Gaza, Lebanon, Syria, Yemen, or Judea and Samaria (the biblical name used for the West Bank)—we are acting systematically and decisively, and our efforts will continue.'
