The Geophysical Survey of the Russian Academy of Sciences announced that three earthquakes occurred off the coast of the Kamchatka Peninsula between 22:32 and 23:32 Moscow time.
The magnitudes of the earthquakes ranged between 5 and 6.2.
Authorities have not yet shared any information regarding the situation in the region following the earthquakes.
The region was shaken by an 8.8 magnitude earthquake on July 30. It was stated that this earthquake was the strongest tremor recorded in Kamchatka since 1952.
