Train accident claims a life: Many injured

One person lost their life and 27 others were injured in a train accident that occurred in southern Denmark, near the German border.

It was reported that the accident occurred between the towns of Tinglev and Kliplev as a result of a collision with a tanker carrying agricultural waste. There were a total of 106 passengers on the train, and it was stated that five of the injured are in serious condition. It was announced that the person who lost their life was a 60-year-old woman.

Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen stated on social media, "My thoughts are with those who lost their loved ones, the injured, and everyone currently affected by the accident. I hope everyone receives the best possible help and support."

The national railway operator DSB announced that the line has been closed until further notice following the accident. Authorities are continuing their work in the area to investigate the causes of the accident and carry out cleanup operations.
