TRT reporter killed in Israeli attack in Gaza
Yahia Barzaq, a freelance journalist working for TRT in Gaza, has lost his life in an Israeli attack. Communications Director Duran and TRT Director General Sobacı have issued messages of condolence for Barzaq.

Freelance journalist Yahia Barzaq, who was working on behalf of TRT, has lost his life in Israel's attacks on Gaza.
Communications Director Burhanettin Duran, in a condolence message shared on his social media account, described Barzaq as “a brave voice pursuing the truth.” Duran emphasized that Israel's attacks on journalists cannot cover up the truth.

TRT Director General Prof. Dr. Mehmet Zahid Sobacı expressed his reaction with the words, “We are deeply saddened. Our brother Yahia Barzaq was martyred in the attack by murderous Israel. May God have mercy on him. Israel will not be able to hide its crimes against humanity by murdering journalists.”
