Trump announces killing of high-ranking ISIS member responsible for attack planning in Somalia
US President Donald Trump announced that a high-ranking member of the terrorist organization ISIS, who was responsible for planning attacks in Somalia, was killed in an operation.

Trump shared the information on his X social media account.
Stating that the high-ranking organization member was hiding in a cave and threatening the US and its allies, Trump stated that, in accordance with his instructions, a precision airstrike carried out in the morning killed the high-ranking member along with other terrorists.
Trump stated that no civilians were harmed in the attack, saying, "Our military has been tracking this ISIS attack planner for years. But (former US President Joe) Biden and his cronies could never move fast enough to get the job done. But I did."
Noting that this operation sends an important message to ISIS and everyone who threatens Americans, Trump said, "We will find you and we will kill you."
