U.S. President Trump evaluated the agenda for members of the press at a signing ceremony held at the White House.

Trump stated that he had spoken separately by phone with Russian President Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, and that they had held important discussions aimed at ending the Russia-Ukraine war.

The U.S. President noted that they would meet with both Putin and Zelenskyy in person, stating, "We are actually expecting him (Putin) to come here, and I will go there, but we will likely also meet in Saudi Arabia. We will meet in Saudi Arabia for the first time and see what we can do. We want to end this war. We will likely meet in Saudi Arabia as the first meeting."

"President Putin and President Zelenskyy both want peace. I also want peace. I want to stop people from being killed," Trump said, emphasizing that they would be engaged in a rigorous diplomatic process on this matter.

Trump, who said that Putin wants the war to end, will be joined in these bilateral meetings by the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia.
