Trump closes the door on NATO for Ukraine

When asked how much he trusts Russian President Vladimir Putin in the event that a peace agreement is signed with Ukraine, Trump said, "If a peace agreement is signed with Ukraine, I don't think Putin will attempt another invasion later."

Trump stated, "I have known him for a long time, I don't believe he will break his word. I don't think he will return once we make a deal. I think the deal will be valid. Both Russia and Ukraine will have their security," he said.

"I CAN'T BELIEVE I CALLED HIM A DICTATOR"

Trump, who had previously used the term "dictator" for Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in earlier statements, backtracked on his previous words when asked about the subject.

Responding to the question, "Do you still use the term dictator for Zelenskyy?", Trump replied, "Did I say that? I can't believe I said that."

FIRST A PEACE DEAL, THEN A PEACEKEEPING FORCE

Trump also made assessments regarding when peacekeeping troops could be sent to Ukraine, stating that their priority is a peace agreement.

Trump said, "You are talking about a peacekeeping force, but we must make a deal first. We don't have a deal right now. We are quite advanced on the deal, but we haven't made one yet. That's why I don't want to talk about a peacekeeping force until we make a deal."

RARE EARTH ELEMENTS AGREEMENT TO BE SIGNED

On the other hand, Trump noted that Zelenskyy will be at the White House tomorrow and that they will sign a rare earth elements agreement with him.

Explaining that he has a good relationship with both Putin and Zelenskyy, Trump said, "We will probably sign this agreement together in front of the media. We want to work with President Zelenskyy. I think we actually had a very good relationship with Zelenskyy, but perhaps our relationship became a bit strained," and stated that the reason for this was that they could not get back the money they gave to Ukraine.

"WE HAVE PROBLEMS WITH THE EU"

Regarding relations between the US and the European Union (EU), Trump said, "We have problems with the EU because they impose customs tariffs on us. We will also impose reciprocal customs tariffs on them."

During the meeting, British Prime Minister Starmer delivered a letter from King Charles to the US President, formally inviting Trump to the UK.

Upon receiving the invitation, Trump said, "This is truly very special, it has never happened before. I will visit the UK soon."

"UKRAINE'S NATO MEMBERSHIP WILL NOT HAPPEN"

In response to a question, Trump stated that Ukraine's NATO membership will not happen, and that this issue is already the source of the problem.
