Trump: Factories in China are closing because we are not buying their products

US President Donald Trump made assessments regarding current issues during a Cabinet meeting held at the White House. Pointing to former President Joe Biden as responsible for the poor performance in economic data, Trump criticized the judicial system, stating that some judges oppose the deportation of criminals. While evaluating the effects of customs tariffs imposed on China, President Trump announced that they are ready for a rare earth elements agreement with Ukraine.

Starting his speech with criticisms of the judicial system at the beginning of the meeting, Trump said, "Some judges do not like the deportation of known murderers. I don't understand what their problem is." Drawing attention to the problems in the justice system, Trump argued that the law in the US should protect the public, not criminals.

"THE COLLAPSE IN THE ECONOMY IS A LEGACY FROM BIDEN"

Holding Biden responsible for the poor economic data from the last three months, Trump said, "These figures are not mine; they are the result of Biden's economic policies. I inherited the country in ruins." Claiming that most of the data still carries the effects of the previous administration, Trump said, "We can even say that the next quarter's data will be due to Biden."

Responding to a question about the declines in the stock market, Trump replied, "I don't want credit, nor do I want blame. I inherited chaos." In response to a question about whether customs duties are affecting the markets, Trump reiterated that the effects of the Biden era are still ongoing.

"HARVARD IS SCAMMING THE PUBLIC"

Criticizing Harvard University, Trump said, "They take huge amounts of money and scam the public. They hire some of our country's worst mayors, like de Blasio and Lori Lightfoot, and pay them a fortune."

"FACTORIES IN CHINA ARE CLOSING"

Speaking on the US-China trade tensions, Trump noted that the 145 percent tariffs imposed on China are beginning to yield results, stating, "Factories in China are closing because we are not buying their products. I like President Xi, but it will continue this way unless they are fair."

"WE ARE READY FOR A LAND DEAL"

Stating that they are ready to sign a deal with Ukraine regarding precious minerals, Trump said, "We do not want a complex and expensive deal. There will be a US presence on the ground for Ukraine. I hope they show respect."

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, who spoke on the agreement, said, "Our side is ready. The Ukrainian side made some last-minute changes. If they are ready, we can sign it this afternoon."

"TRADE TALKS WITH CANADA WILL CONTINUE"

Touching upon his phone call with Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney, Trump stated that Carney called him yesterday to congratulate him on his election victory. Prime Minister Carney is expected to visit the White House sometime next week.

SANCTIONS TO EXPAND

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced new sanctions within the framework of the Trump administration's "maximum pressure" strategy against Iran. Stating that "The President is determined to reduce Iran's illegal oil and petrochemical exports to zero," Rubio noted that 7 companies and 2 ships engaged in oil trade with Iran have been added to the sanctions list as part of the new measures. It was reported that 5 of the companies in question are based in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Rubio stated that Iran uses these revenues to "finance terrorist activities and proxy organizations," adding, "All parties in violation will be held accountable."

Touching upon the new US foreign policy, Rubio said, "We are no longer making policy based on what is good for the world, but on what is good for the US." Rubio also noted that negotiations are ongoing to send the most dangerous criminals to countries other than El Salvador.

"WE HAVE REDUCED THE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION STAFF BY HALF"

Secretary of Education Linda McMahon stated at the meeting that the number of personnel at the Department of Education has been reduced by 50 percent, and that the education system is being restructured through the integration of artificial intelligence applications into the states. Stating, "We are working more efficiently with fewer people," McMahon asked Trump to refer to her as the "secretary of education."
