Trump had said 'cleanse it': Allegations that Israel is forcing Palestinians to migrate

It has been alleged that Israel is 'deliberately' pressuring Palestinians to migrate in the occupied West Bank. The Israeli army, which has been reported to be conducting 'uncontrolled attacks' in the West Bank, has detained dozens of people and killed at least 19. It is claimed that the attacks are being carried out to 'force' people in the region to migrate.

In a statement, the Palestinian Ministry of Health reported that following the Jenin attack, in which 17 people lost their lives and 50 were injured, 2 people were killed and 4 were injured in the Israeli army's two-day attacks on the Tulkarm Refugee Camp.

Tulkarm Governor Abdullah Kumeil reminded that Israeli occupation forces have been continuing their attacks on the city for two days, stating, 'They aim to exhaust our strength and destroy our infrastructure.'

Stating that Israeli forces aim to destroy residential homes and workplaces belonging to citizens by rendering roads unusable during their raids, Kumeil also shared that Israeli forces have detained many citizens and forced them to leave their homes.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health is making efforts to ensure that health services are not disrupted in the besieged areas

'CAMP UNDER SIEGE'

According to Palestinian authorities, Israeli forces detained at least 25 Palestinians in the West Bank on January 27-28.

Tulkarm Refugee Camp Popular Committee Chairman Faysal Salame said, 'The camp is under a tight siege. While shops and houses are being demolished, some are also being burned.'

Stating that Israeli troops are patrolling many neighborhoods in Tulkarm and that bulldozers have reached Jamal Abdel Nasser Square in the city center, Salame noted the following:

'Gunshots and explosions are heard from time to time in the refugee camp, and destruction work is being carried out on the infrastructure at the entry points to the city.'

Besme Dar Said, one of those displaced from the Tulkarm Refugee Camp, stated the following:

'We did not leave the camp yesterday. Today, we had to leave after the Israeli army asked us to vacate our homes and gave us only a few minutes. How can I leave with my mother and brother in a wheelchair? But I had to leave. The streets and infrastructure are in ruins, and the houses are demolished.'

Stating that the Israeli army is 'emptying houses and placing snipers on their roofs,' the Palestinian woman emphasized that they are facing a heavy attack.

Expressing that she had witnessed several raids in the Tulkarm Refugee Camp before, Said added, 'I witnessed a military bulldozer demolishing a house,' noting that Israel is deliberately destroying the region.
