Trump stated, "I had a very productive meeting with European leaders. I have begun preparations for a trilateral meeting by calling Russian President Vladimir Putin, which will include Putin, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, and myself."
U.S. President Donald Trump announced in a post on his Truth Social account that he held comprehensive discussions at the White House with leaders from Ukraine and European countries. Trump said, "I had a very productive meeting at the White House with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, French President Emmanuel Macron, Finnish President Alexander Stubb, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany Friedrich Merz, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, and NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte."
Trump also noted that key figures in the American administration are playing an active role in managing the process. U.S. President Trump stated, "Vice President JD Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and Special Envoy Steve Witkoff are coordinating with Russia and Ukraine. Thank you for your interest in this matter."
