Trump: I never went to Epstein's island

U.S. President Donald Trump made a new statement following the release of new documents on January 30 by the U.S. Department of Justice, under the transparency law, regarding American billionaire Jeffrey Epstein, who was accused of running a sex trafficking ring involving underage girls and was found dead in prison. Addressing the correspondence between Epstein and journalist and author Michael Wolff regarding himself, Trump said, "I had no friendly relationship with Jeffrey Epstein, and according to the information newly released by the Department of Justice, Epstein and a crooked 'author' named Michael Wolff conspired to damage me or my presidency."

Stating that those who conspired against him were "radical leftists," Trump indicated that he would sue some individuals connected to the aforementioned conspiracies. Trump said, "Also, unlike many people who love to talk nonsense, I never went to Epstein's infested island, but almost all of these crooked Democrats and their donors did."

He had accused Epstein and Wolff of conspiring against him politically

Trump had accused Epstein and Wolff of conspiring against him politically. Regarding the conversations Epstein had with journalist and author Michael Wolff about him, Trump had said, "This shows that an author named Wolff conspired with Epstein to harm me. I haven't seen it myself, but some very important people told me that this not only clears me, but actually reveals the exact opposite of what people, especially the radical left, had hoped for. It appears that Wolff, a third-rate author, collaborated with Jeffrey Epstein to harm me politically or otherwise. This has become quite clear and obvious. That is why we will probably sue Wolff."
