Following the inauguration ceremony, Trump moved to the White House to complete the transition process, and one of his first actions there was to take over the official account used by U.S. presidents on X.
Taking over the POTUS account, where official posts by U.S. presidents are made on X, from former President Joe Biden, Trump used the phrase "America is back" in his first post.
In the continuation of his post, Trump gave the message, "Every day, I will be fighting for you, with every breath in my body. I will not rest until we have delivered the strong, safe, and prosperous America that our children deserve and that you deserve. This will truly be the golden age of America."
Trump's post, which also included a 35-second promotional video featuring some footage from his previous presidential term, was viewed 6 million times in a short period.
On the other hand, it was observed that a post was also made on the White House website featuring a portrait of Trump pointing forward, along with the slogan "America is back."
